I needed a heat gun to do more than to heat shrink tubing over soldered electrical connections. I bought this to fix my front bumper on my mini-van. Wow, in 2 hours in paid for itself. After drilling a few holes in the plastic bumper and using the pull out tool that came with this heater, I got the plastic hot enought to pull out the dent and later filled up the holes, smooth out the ruff spots with the other tools that came with the heat gun and painted the bumper. OK, maybe I was not able to do a professional job, but for my first try at doing this and it looks 95% better than it did before. Best of all, I saved over 500 dollars doing it myself. And it looks great. The heat gun can be used to heat frozen (rusted) basement drain pipes to help you with repairs. Before I bought this gun, I had cut the pipes. A great heat gun with many uses. This heat gun is great for what I have paid for it through amazon.com. It does everything it’s suppose to do.
